  4. 2 tsp oil
  5. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp black gram

  9. 2 tbsp grated carrot
  10. 1/4 cup thick milk

Instructions to make to make Curd Rice

  1. Firstly cook the rice little more softer than usual, you can also use left over rice for this, now beat the curd to smooth consistency,add curd, milk, salt, grated carrot to the rice and mix well, adjust curds according to your taste
  2. For tempering/tadka, heat up two tsp of oil in a sauce pan, add mustard seeds, when it starts to splutter add black gram, chopped green chillies, and curry leaves saute for two minutes
  3. Add little tempering/tadka to the curd mixed rice bowl mix well and transfer that to serving bowl/plate, garnish with left over tadka and few carrot flowers,green chillies,and few rose petals or you can garnish according to your taste and serve with pickle... 😋
