- 1/2 Kg Chicken
- 3-4 Potato
- 1 Cup Yogurt
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder (or to taste)
- 1/2 tbsp Salt (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 5-6 Green Chillies Chopped
- 1 Large Onion Sliced
- 2 tbsp Mint Leaves Chopped
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Chopped
- 1 Cup Fried Onion
- 2 & ½ Liter Water
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 4-5 Cloves
- 1/2 Tsp Black Peppercorn
- 2-3 Green Cardamom
- 2 star anise
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 1 & ½ tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 500 Gm Sella Rice (Soaked for 30 Mins)
- Fresh Coriander
- Mint leaves
- Fried Onion
- 5-6 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 Tsp Yellow Food Colour
- 1 tbsp Kewra Water
Steps to make to make Simplest Chicken Biryani
- In A Bowl Add Chicken,Yogurt,Turmeric,Red Chilli Powder,Coriander Powder,Ginger Garlic Paste,Green Chilli Chopped,Onion,Mint Leaves,Fresh Coriander,Fried Onion & Mix Well. Marinate The Chicken For 40-45 Mins.
- In A Bowl Add Potato, Food Colour Mix Well and Set Aside.
- In a Pot Add Oil And Colour Potato and Fry Until Golden Brown and Set Aside.
- Add Cumin Seeds,Marinated Chicken & Stir Fry For 2-3 Mins.
- Add Fry Potato and Mix well.
- Cover and Cook on low Flame for 15-20 Mins.
- Remove The Lid and Cook On High Flame Until Oil Separates. Now Turn The Flame Off.
- In a Pot Add Water,Cinnamon Stick,Cloves,Black Peppercorn,Bay Leaf,Star Anis,Black Cardamom,Green Cardamom,Salt,Vinegar & Bring It to Boil.
- Add Rice & Let It Cook ¾ Done (Approx 8-10 Mins) Strain & Set Aside.
- Take A Pot Grace With Oil Add Half Amount Of Rice,Korma,Fresh Coriander Mint Leaves,fried Onion
- Dissolve Yellow Food Colour In Kewra Water and Add In it.
- Cover and Steam Cook On Low Flame for 8-10 Mins.
- Mix Well.
- Serve....!!
